Air Canada Adds Montreal – Copenhagen From June 2023

Air Canada in last week’s schedule update opened reservation for Montreal – Copenhagen route, scheduled for Northern summer 2023 season. From 01JUN23, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to operate 5 weekly flights.

AC826 YUL1755 – 0645+1CPH 788 x12
AC827 CPH1315 – 1500+1YUL 788 x23

SAS previously operated Copenhagen – Montreal route until July 1980.

Separately, selected Trans-Atlantic routes will see flight number adjustment in Northern summer 2023 season:
Toronto – Amsterdam AC826/827 > AC808/809
Toronto – Manchester AC808/809 > AC908/909 (AC’s sole Trans-Atlantic route in AC900-999 range)
Toronto – Munich AC834/835 > AC836/837

Following adjustment has been filed recently, some of these adjustments were not highlighted on AeroRoutes:
Montreal – Milan Malpensa eff 01JUN23 Increase from 5 to 7 weekly, A330-300
Toronto – Manchester eff 01JUN23 787-8 operates 5 weekly in NS23, instead of A330-300 in NS22 (1 daily from 19JUN23)
Toronto – Barcelona eff 01MAY23 Increase from 5 weekly in NS22 to 1 daily, A330-300
Toronto – Brussels Tentative service launch on 25MAR23, 5 weekly 787-8
Toronto – Edinburgh eff 01JUN23 Service increases from 6 weekly in NS22 to 1 daily when it resumes seasonal service, 787-8
Toronto – London Heathrow eff 25MAR23 4th daily flight tentatively resumes
Toronto – Madrid eff 01MAY23 Increase from 5 weekly in NS22 to 1 daily, A330-300

EDIT as of 2115GMT 10AUG22: A reader submitted contacted regarding Toronto - Vienna route. This should be corrected to Toronto - Brussels route, a tentative addition in Northern summer 2023 season with 787-8, although the airline previously planned to operate this route from 2020.
