Finnair Adds State-Subsidised Routes in 4Q22

Finnair at the launch of Northern winter 2022/23 season resumed 5 domestic destinations, as the oneWorld carrier in early-October secured Traficom’s contract for public service obligations to Joensuu, Jyvaskyla, Kajaani, Kemi and Kokkola, between 31OCT22 and 30JUL23.

The airline’s operational routing, operated by Norra ATR72 as follows. These routes were previously served by Finnair/Norra until April 2021.

Helsinki – Joensuu 8 weekly (10 weekly from 24NOV22)
Helsinki – Jyvaskyla
eff 28NOV22 10 weekly
Helsinki – Kajaani
8 weekly (10 weekly from 01DEC22)
Helsinki – Kemi – Kokkola – Helsinki 2 weekly
Helsinki – Kokkola – Kemi 5 weekly (6 from 08NOV22)
Helsinki – Kokkola – Kemi – Helsinki 6 weekly

oneWorld partner Qatar Airways will display its QR-coded flight numbers on flights to Joensuu, Jyvaskyla and Kajaani.
