Aeromexico Resumes Rome Service in NS23

Aeromexico yesterday (07NOV22) announced European network expansion, as the airline plans to relaunch service to Rome in Northern summer 2023 season. From 25MAR23, the Skyteam member will operate 3 weekly Mexico City – Rome nonstop flight, with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Service will increase to 5 weekly from 01JUN23 to 27OCT23, subject to government approval.

Schedule below is effective 01JUL23 – 31AUG23.

Aeromexico previously served Rome between April 1992 and February 1995, when it operated up to 2 weekly Mexico City – Cancun – Madrid – Rome service with DC10, Boeing 767-200ER and -300ER.

Separately, the Skyteam member during Northern summer 2023 season is expanding service from Guadalajara and Monterrey to Madrid. Planned operation as follows (listed schedule is effective for the month of June 2023).

On Mexico City – Madrid route, the airline continues to operate 2 daily flights with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
