Lufthansa Plans 318-seater A350 Service Entry From June 2023

Lufthansa in late-December 2022 filed schedule update for its planned 318-seater Airbus A350-900XWB operation. First highlighted on AeroRoutes on 15DEC22, the Star Alliance member’s 318-seater schedule was listed from 01MAR23, except 26MAR23 – 31MAY23.

The latest adjustment, based on week of 19DEC22’s schedule update and remains unchanged as of 11JAN23, sees the 318-seater aircraft to begin operating from 01JUN23 at earliest. Configuration of the 318-seater aircraft is C30E26M262, scheduled to operate on following routes:

Munich – Delhi
Munich – Montreal
Munich – Mumbai
Munich – Vancouver

These routes in Northern summer 2022 season were operated by ex-Philippine Airlines 295-seater A350 aircraft with the configuration of C30E24M241. The 295-seater aircraft is not listed in the schedules between 26MAR23 and 31MAY23 (Munich departure).
