American Airlines in recent schedule update filed changes to its Northern winter 2023/24 intercontinental operation. Based on schedule comparison 26MAR23 vs 23APR23, planned changes as follow.

Charlotte – Dublin Seasonal service resumes on 05MAR24, 1 daily 777-200ER
Charlotte – Madrid Service extends to year-round, 1 daily 777-200ER
Dallas/Ft. Worth – Dublin Service extends to year-round, 1 daily 787-8
Dallas/Ft. Worth – Rome Fiumicino Service extends to year-round, 1 daily 787-8. However this route will be suspended 08JAN24 – 14FEB24
Los Angeles – Auckland 21DEC23 – 03MAR24 Service resumption since March 2020, 1 daily 787-9 (3 weekly from 15FEB24; Previously reported)
Miami – Buenos Aires Ezeiza eff 29OCT23 Increase from 14 to 17 weekly (21 weekly 22DEC23 – 09JAN24)
Miami – Rio de Janeiro Galeao eff 05DEC23 Increase from 7 to 10 weekly, 777-200ER (AA985/988 operated by 787-8 from 08JAN24)
New York JFK – Rio de Janeiro Galeao 21DEC23 – 07JAN24 Increase from 3 to 7 weekly, 777-200ER
Philadelphia – Barcelona Service extends to year-round, 1 daily 787-8. However this route will be suspended 08JAN24 – 14FEB24
Philadelphia – Lisbon Service extends to year-round, 1 daily 787-8
Philadelphia – Rome Fiumicino
26JAN24 – 22FEB24 1 daily 787-8 service maintained during this period
Seattle – London Heathrow eff 28OCT23 1 daily service discontinued

AA’s service to Mainland China will continue to focus on Dallas/Ft. Worth – Shanghai Pu Dong route, tentatively lists 1 daily 777-200ER from 28OCT23. Other planned service to Mainland China including the following, has been removed: Dallas/Ft. Worth – Beijing Daxing, Seattle – Shanghai Pu Dong.
