China Southern Australia Service Expansion From June 2023

China Southern Airlines from June 2023 plans to increase Guangzhou – Sydney service, currently scheduled 10 weekly flights. From 08JUN23, the airline will increase overall service to 14 weekly, on board Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

On Guangzhou – Melbourne route, the airline will increase overall capacity from 08JUN23, with 2-class 334-seater A350-900XWB operating, instead of 313-seater. This route is served once a day. With this adjustment, Melbourne will now become the airline’s sole international route served by the 334-seater A350, replacing Dhaka (Guangzhou – Dhaka switches from 334-seater to 313-seater from the same date).
