SAS Returns to Africa with Agadir Addition in NW23

SAS yesterday (10MAY23) announced its plan to resume regular scheduled service to Africa for the first time since 2005, as the airline plans to launch service to Agadir in Morocco during Northern winter 2023/24 season.

The Star Alliance member’s mainline operation served Copenhagen – Cairo until December 1990 (Nairobi and Johannesburg served until August 1985), while Snowflake briefly served Copenhagen – Cairo during Northern winter 2004/05 season (schedule below). SAS also operated Cairo service in Northern winter 2005/06 season.
