Qantas in the last few days filed planned service adjustment on Melbourne – Los Angeles route for Northern winter 2023/24 season, effective 29OCT23. Revised operation sees the confirmation of the return of Airbus A380 service for entire season, although operational frequency for the Super Jumbo has been reduced from 3 to 2 weekly.

The airline’s overall frequency on this route will be increased from 7 to 9 weekly.

The A380 is also scheduled to operate on alternating days on this route between 17JUN23 and 29JUN23.

Separately, AeroRoutes on 26MAY23 published Qantas’ planned service expansion to Tokyo in Japan. There were few erroneous info appeared, which has been fully corrected as of 2015GMT 28MAY23. For Brisbane and Melbourne, service will shift to Tokyo Narita, instead of Tokyo Haneda.
