Nauru Airlines / Air Kiribati Begins Regular Tarawa – Kiritimati Service From Aug 2023

Nauru Airlines as of today (02AUG23) opens reservation for domestic service in Kiribati, as the airline schedules 1 weekly Tarawa – Kiritimati (Christmas Island) service, operating on behalf of Air Kiribati. The partnership was commenced on 05JUN23, with few flights operated initially.

Nauru Airlines’ Boeing 737-700 aircraft will operate this route on weekly basis from 12AUG23 on Saturdays, instead of previously scheduled Monday operation. Coinciding with the regular service launch, its Nauru – Tarawa service will increase from 1 to 2 weekly from the same date.

Reservation for Tarawa – Kiritimati (Christmas Island) sector is also available via Air Kiribati.

In addition, Nauru Airlines from 11AUG23 is adjusting service on Nauru – Nadi sector, as the airline no longer overnights in Nadi, with departure schedule from Nadi shifts from noon hours on Saturday to overnight hours on Friday. This results in the airline no longer offers same day connection from Nadi to Brisbane.
