Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in mid-August 2023 plans to add international service at Skardu, where the airline schedules Skardu – Dubai nonstop flight. Initially, the airline operates one-way Dubai – Skardu – Islamabad on 14AUG23, followed by regular 1 weekly Islamabad – Skardu – Dubai vv flight from 19AUG23.

Airbus A320 aircraft operates this route.
