Qantas Adds Perth – Paris Nonstop Service From July 2024

Qantas today (29OCT23) announced its service resumption to France in mid-2024, as the airline schedules Sydney – Perth – Paris CDG flight with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Qantas last served Paris CDG until October 2004. Reservation for this route expected to open within the next hour, based on the time this post goes to press, based on the airline’s press release.

From 12JUL24, the airline will operate 4 weekly flights, switching to 3 weekly from 18AUG24.

QF033 SYD1355 – 1700PER1935 – 0655+1CDG 789 x246 (17hrs 20mins from Perth to Paris)
QF034 CDG0955 – 0830+1PER1000+1 – 1605+1SYD 789 x357 (16hrs 35mins from Paris to Perth)

From 18AUG24, service operates as Day 135 from Australia, Day 246 from Paris.

Qantas between October 2002 and October 2004 operated 3 weekly Perth – Singapore – Paris CDG service with 747-400. The carrier’s service between Perth and Paris can also trace back to Northern winter 1980/81 season, with 1 weekly routing of Sydney – Melbourne – Perth – Bombay (Mumbai) – Belgrade – Frankfurt – Paris Orly as QF015/016.
