Indonesia AirAsia from February 2024 plans to add new service to Malaysia, where it schedules nonstop Jakarta – Kota Kinabalu route. Airbus A320 aircraft to operate this route 3 times weekly, effective 06FEB24.

AirAsia (AK) previously served this route until January 2017, while Batik Air previously served this route between December 2017 and December 2018.
