Qantas Revises Planned North America Expansion From July 2024

Qantas in the last few days filed service changes to North America from July 2024. Based on available flights for reservation, the airline has scaled back planned service expansion announced earlier this year. As of 28DEC23, planned changes based on available flights for booking, including flights on/after 27OCT24, as follows.

Melbourne – Los Angeles eff 14JUL24 First Class reservation on A380 is now only available for reservation on Day 16 from MEL, Day 46 from LAX

Previous plan: Qantas plans to reduce overall service from 9 to 7 weekly, A380 operation increasing from 2 to 6 weekly (Overall 6 weekly A380 and 1 weekly 787-9)

Sydney – Auckland – New York JFK eff 14AUG24 2 of 7 weekly flights no longer available for reservation
