Arajet Continues NS24 South America Network Expansion

Dominican carrier Arajet during Northern summer 2024 season plans to adjust expand to Ecuador, as the airline resumes nonstop terminator service in both directions on Santo Domingo – Guayaquil and Santo Domingo – Quito route.

The nonstop terminator service will replace current 2 weekly Santo Domingo – Quito – Guayaquil – Santo Domingo triangle routing, currently (schedule for 31MAR24 – 19JUN24) departs Dominican Republic at early afternoon hours, while Ecuador departure departs in afternoon hours.

Planned Ecuador service expansion is part of the carrier's South America network expansion for Northern summer 2024 season, previously reported on AeroRoutes:
Santo Domingo – Buenos Aires Ezeiza eff 01JUN24 Increase from 4 to 6 weekly, 7 from 19JUN24
Santo Domingo – Cartagena eff 04APR24 Increase from 4 to 5 weekly, 6 from 03JUN24

Separately, the airline since late December 2023 filed service changes for Santo Domingo – Medellin route, nonstop terminator service to be increased from 3 to 5 weekly from 31MAR24 to 31MAY24, instead of entire Northern summer 2024 season.
