Qatar Airways NS24 Southern Africa Service Changes

Qatar Airways at the launch of Northern summer 2024 season is adjusting service to South Africa, where the oneWorld carrier extends Doha – Maputo route to Durban, effective 31MAR24. The carrier will be operating Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft on this route 5 times weekly, representing overall frequency increase for both Durban and Maputo, currently served 4 times weekly.

The airline does not have local traffic rights on Maputo – Durban sector. With Durban no longer operates via Johannesburg, Qatar's Doha – Johannesburg service will be exclusively operating as nonstop terminator from 31MAR24, 18 weekly.
