Myanmar Airways International at the launch of Northern summer 2024 season is adding new route to Thailand, with the addition of Yangon – Chiang Mai route. The airline's schedule currently shows 3 weekly flights on board Embraer E190 aircraft, effective 03APR24.

Myanmar National Airlines also operates this route, with ATR72 aircraft operates 4 weekly flights (Day x246).
