China Airlines from late-April 2025 plans to expand codeshare service with Qantas, covering service to Adelaide, as well as additional Trans-Tasman service. Following codeshare routes to commence on 30APR25.

Brisbane – Adelaide
Brisbane – Auckland
Melbourne – Adelaide
Melbourne – Auckland
Sydney – Adelaide
Sydney – Queenstown
Sydney – Wellington

China Airlines’ codeshare flight number from Brisbane to Adelaide is CI9997. CI9999, which already in use, is designated on Qantas flight from Sydney to Auckland (QF149).
