American Airlines during the weekend of 04MAY25’s schedule update opened reservations for the 244-seater Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, set to enter service in June 2025.

Planned 244-seater 787-9 operation includes the following.

Chicago O'Hare – London Heathrow eff 05JUN25 1 daily (3 daily from 05JUL25)
Chicago O'Hare – Los Angeles 05JUN25 – 02SEP25 1 daily
Dallas/Ft. Worth – Brisbane eff 25OCT25 6 weekly (1 daily from 08DEC25)
Philadelphia – London Heathrow eff 06AUG25 1 daily (2 daily from 03SEP25)
Philadelphia – Zurich eff 03SEP25 1 daily

Operational schedule for the 244-seater 787-9 for Europe is currently filed until 24OCT25 inclusive.
