Ariana Afghan Airlines earlier this year added service between Herat and Iran, with service to Mashhad and Tehran. Operational schedules for both routes begin to appear in the OAG during the weekend of 04MAY25’s update.

Planned operations for Northern summer 2025 season as follows.

Herat – Mashhad 2 weekly 737-400

Herat – Tehran Imam Khomeini 1 weekly A310
FG721 HEA0830 – 0930IKA 310 6
