Air Transat from December 2025 plans to launch service to Guyana, after securing licence from Canadian Transportation Agency on 07MAY25. From 16DEC25, the airline to operate Toronto – Georgetown route twice weekly, with Airbus A321neo.

The airline also secured licence to operate service between Canada and Brasil.
