China Eastern on Sunday (25MAY25) launched COMAC C919 aircraft service on Shanghai Hongqiao – Xiamen route, operating 1 round-trip flight as MU5247/5248. Previously MU5247/5248 service was operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

This route is the carrier’s overall 13th route operated by C919 aircraft during Northern summer 2025 season.
