Finnair NW25 Domestic Service Expansion

Finnair during Northern winter 2025/26 season plans to expand domestic service, the airline announced on 20MAY25. Most of the planned frequency increases are scheduled from early-December 2025.

Planned service change includes the following. The number of flights listed below are based on entire season from 26OCT25 to 29MAR26, schedule filing comparison 16MAR25 vs 08JUN25.

Helsinki – Ivalo Increase from 634 to 685 flights (Capacity Increase from 111898 to 120027 seats)
Inbound flight reduce from 539 to 514 flights (capacity reduce from 95357 to 91089 seats). The reduction is offset by expanded one-way flight from Ivalo to Kittila, increase from 95 to 171 flights while capacity increases from 16541 to 28938 seats

Helsinki – Joensuu Increase from 225 to 226 flights (Capacity Increase from 15500 to 15550 seats)
Helsinki – Kittila Overall service Reduce from 683 to 652 flights (Capacity Reduce from 121444 to 118139 seats. However, certain weeks will see flight increases, despite overall seasonal reduction)
Inbound flight increase from 783 to 822 flights, capacity increase from 138855 to 146933 seats

Helsinki – Kuopio Increase from 608 to 611 flights (Capacity Increase from 41598 to 41878 seats)
Helsinki – Kuusamo Increase from 437 to 482 flights (Capacity Increase from 30334 to 33458 seats)
Helsinki – Mariehamn Increase from 88 to 89 flights (Capacity Increase from 5984 to 6058 seats)
Helsinki – Oulu Increase from 1348 to 1351 flights (Capacity Increase from 203244 to 204075 seats)
Helsinki – Rovaniemi Increase from 1325 to 1392 flights (Capacity Increase from 204146 to 230291 seats)
Helsinki – Vaasa Increase from 458 to 460 flights (Capacity Increase from 31332 to 31650 seats)
