Iberia in recent weeks filed service changes on Madrid – Rio de Janeiro Galeao route for Northern winter 2025/26 season. Based on schedule listing comparison 16MAR25 vs 22JUN25, the oneWorld member has reduced planned service from 5 to 4 weekly, between 26OCT25 and 28MAR26. However the airline between 02FEB26 and 16FEB26 will maintain 5th weekly flight, based on schedule filing.
