Nordwind Opens Moscow – Pyongyang Bookings For late-July 2025

Russian carrier Nordwind Airlines on its website opened reservations for service to North Korea in the last few days, albeit only 1 round-trip flight is available as of 21JUL25. The carrier’s 440-seater all-Economy Class Boeing 777-200ER aircraft to operate Moscow Sheremetyevo – Pyongyang route on 27JUL25 (return on 29JUL25).

Aeroflot previously served this route until October 1994, with 1 flight per month, on board Ilyushin Il62. Air Koryo also flew this route with Ilyushin Il62 weekly flight until January 2001.
