China Airlines this week filed initial changes to its long-haul service for Northern winter 2025/26 season. As of 23JUL25, planned changes include the following.

Taipei Taoyuan – Los Angeles
01DEC25 – 28FEB26 CI008/007 A350-900 replaces 777-300ER on Day x5 (except 16DEC25 – 16JAN26)

Previously reported, 3 weekly CI006 closed for reservation, to be changed to Taipei Taoyuan – Phoenix – Los Angeles

Taipei Taoyuan – Melbourne
01DEC25 – 28FEB26 777-300ER replaces A350-900, 5 weekly (except 16DEC25 – 15JAN26). Service will not extend to Auckland (reservations for Melbourne – Auckland sector was not open for bookings)
Taipei Taoyuan – Ontario 03DEC25 – 25FEB26 777-300ER operates 1 daily (except 17DEC25 – 14JAN26), instead of 5 weekly 777-300ER and 2 weekly A350-900
Taipei Taoyuan – San Francisco 01DEC25 – 28FEB26 A350-900 replaces 777-300ER on Day x5 (except 16DEC25 – 16JAN26)
Taipei Taoyuan – Sydney 01DEC25 – 28FEB26 777-300ER replaces A350-900, 5 weekly (except 16DEC25 – 15JAN26)
