Firefly Moves Jet Operation to KLIA From mid-August 2025

Firefly today (30JUL25) announced service changes to its jet operation from 19AUG25. From this date, its Boeing 737-800 aircraft service will move from Kuala Lumpur Subang to Kuala Lumpur (KLIA; KUL).

Planned operational frequencies, based on week of 07SEP25 – 13SEP25, as follows.

Kuala Lumpur – Johor Bahru eff 23AUG25 3 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Kota Bharu eff 30AUG25 3 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Kota Kinabalu
eff 21AUG25 9 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Terengganu eff 30AUG25 4 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Kuching eff 21AUG25 6 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Sibu eff 03SEP25 3 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Singapore eff 22AUG25 3 weekly
Kuala Lumpur – Tawau
eff 19AUG25 5 weekly

On Kuala Lumpur – Penang route, the airline will triple service from 2 to 6 weekly from 23AUG25.
