Spirit Airlines in last week’s schedule update filed revised operation from October 2025, as the carrier discontinues 18 routes, exiting 12 cities (including a planned new service from mid-October 2025).

Between 02OCT25 and 04OCT25, the airline will discontinue following destinations: Albuquerque, Birmingham AL, Boise, Chattanooga, Columbia SC, Oakland, Portland OR, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Diego and San Jose CA. Planned new service to Macon will not go ahead.

At Las Vegas, Spirit’s operation is downsized from 34 routes, 296 weekly flights to 26 routes with 233 weekly flights, based on week of 09-15NOV25, schedule listing 31AUG25 vs 07SEP25. Note the airline as of 15JUN25 was filing 37 routes with 329 weekly departures.
