China Eastern Extends Buenos Aires Schedule into NS26

China Eastern in the last few days gradually extended schedule listing for its planned Argentina service into Northern summer 2026 season, effective 29MAR26.

The Skyteam member plans to maintain 2 weekly Shanghai Pu Dong – Auckland – Buenos Aires Ezeiza flights on/after 29MAR26. At time this post goes to press, only full fare F / J / Y-class are available for bookings.

The airline will launch this route on 04DEC25, becoming the world’s longest 1-stop passenger flight based on flying distance. Note the CAAC on 02JUL25 approved China Eastern’s application to serve this route up to 4 times weekly, despite the airline schedules 2 weekly flights. The CAAC on the same day also approved China Eastern to operate up to 3 weekly Shanghai Pu Dong – Auckland – Santiago de Chile route.
