United during recent schedule update filed selected frequency changes on European routes out of Newark, for Northern summer 2026 season.

Newark – Brussels eff 28MAR26 Planned seasonal 2nd daily flight with 757-200 cancelled
Newark – Edinburgh eff 21MAY26 Planned seasonal 2nd daily flight with 757-200 cancelled
Newark – Frankfurt eff 26MAR26 Reduce from 11 to 7 weekly

With these changes, the Star Alliance member during peak season now schedules 300 weekly departures from Newark to 36 European cities, instead of 304 weekly departures to 32 European cities (as of 28SEP25).
