Air Tanzania in November and December 2025 temporarily expands capacity on Dar es Salaam – Johannesburg route. Since 02NOV25, 1 of 7 weekly flights has been operated by 787-8, instead of A220-300/737 MAX 9. From 12DEC25 to 28DEC25, 2 of 7 weekly flights will be operated by the 787.

From 29DEC25, service returns to 6 weekly A220-300 and 1 weekly 737 MAX 9. The airline also operates 2 weekly Dar es Salaam – Johannesburg – Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam, with A220-300.
