Spring Airlines Further Reduces Japan Service in NW25

Chinese carrier Spring Airlines in the last two weeks continues to revise planned service to Japan for the remainder of Northern winter 2025/26 season, which now sees slightly over 50% reductions by late-December 2025. Latest service changes, comparing to frequency filed as of 16NOV25, as follows.
This post focuses on Spring Airlines (9C), not including Spring Airlines Japan (IJ).

For December 2025, the airline now schedules 396 flights (one-way from China to Japan) on 13 routes with 75228 seats (as of 14DEC25), compared to 689 flights on 19 routes with 137238 seats (as of 16NOV25). For January 2026, the airline schedules 371 flights on 10 routes with 68868 seats, compared to 768 flights on 20 routes with 148584 seats. Between 01JAN26 and 31JAN26, the airline slashes 51.7% of flights while capacity being reduced by 54%.
