China Airlines Outlines 331-seater A350-900 Service in NS26

China Airlines in last week’s schedule update filed 331-seater Airbus A350-900 operations, previously operated by Sichuan Airlines (configuration J28Y303). The 331-seater is scheduled to enter service in the second quarter of 2026.

Planned operations as of 21DEC25 include:

03AUG26 – 24OCT26 Day x27

Taipei Taoyuan – Melbourne CI057/058
02MAY26 – 01AUG26 Day 246 (Day 357 from MEL)
03AUG26 – 24OCT26 Day x357 (Day x146 from MEL)

Premium Economy Class on Melbourne route is closed for reservations from 02MAY26.

Taipei Taoyuan – Tokyo Narita CI104/105
21SEP26 – 19OCT26 Day 1

The seat map for the 331-seater is not fully reflected in the airline’s reservation system, at time this post goes to press. Further changes remain highly possible. In addition, the carrier’s Taipei Taoyuan – Brisbane – Auckland service from 01AUG26 sees selected flights not available for reservations in Premium Economy Class.
