Saudia Outlines A321XLR Operations From May 2026

Saudia earlier this month filed initial changes to its planned operation in Northern summer 2026 season (as well as selected routes for Northern winter 2026/27), which sees the service entry of 144-seater Airbus A321XLR aircraft by mid-2026.

Configuration of the A321XLR is J24Y120, with 1-1 layout in Business Class.

Jeddah – Barcelona eff 27OCT26 3 weekly, replacing 787-9/-10
Jeddah – Geneva eff 01SEP26 4 weekly, replacing A330Regional (SV intends to increase to 7 weekly, additional flights not available for reservations)
Jeddah – Madrid
eff 01AUG26 4 weekly, replacing 787-9/-10 (SV intends to increase from 4 to 6 weekly, additional flights not available for reservations)
Jeddah – Male eff 01JUL26 Increase from 2 to 3 weekly, A321neo replaces 787-9/-10
Jeddah – Mauritius eff 25OCT26 3 weekly, replacing 787-9
Jeddah – Vienna eff 23MAY26 3 weekly, replacing A320 (4 weekly scheduled 21JUN26 – 05SEP26)
Riyadh – Athens 05AUG26 – 26AUG26 SV intends to schedule 144-seater on 1 of 3 weekly flight, however actual booking continues to list A320
Riyadh – Geneva eff 02SEP26 3 weekly, replacing A330Regional (SV intends to increase from 3 to 4 weekly, additional flight not available for reservations)
Riyadh – Moscow Sheremetyevo eff 03JUL26 3 weekly, replacing A320 (SV intends to increase from 3 to 4 weekly from 10SEP26, additional flight not available for reservations)

The 144-sater is also scheduled on Riyadh – Jeddah route from July 2026, on selected flights only. Information is as of 25DEC25 although further changes remain possible.
