Saudia Outlines A321XLR Network From May 2026 – 29DEC25 Update

Saudia in last week’s schedule update filed additional changes to its planned Airbus A321XLR operations, scheduled to enter service in the second quarter of 2026. Latest update as of 29DEC25 includes the following.
Jeddah – Barcelona eff 27OCT26 3 weekly, replacing 787-9/-10
Jeddah – Geneva eff 01SEP26 4 weekly, replacing A330Regional (SV intends to increase to 7 weekly, additional flights not available for reservations)
Jeddah – Madrid eff 01AUG26 4 weekly, replacing 787-9/-10 (SV intends to increase from 4 to 6 weekly, additional flights not available for reservations)
Jeddah – Male eff 01JUL26 Increase from 2 to 3 weekly, A321neo replaces 787-9/-10
Jeddah – Mauritius eff 15JUN26 3 weekly, replacing 787-9 (Actual booking between 15JUN26 and 24OCT26 now shows A321XLR. Previous: eff 25OCT26)
Jeddah – Vienna eff 23MAY26 3 weekly, replacing A320 (4 weekly 21JUN26 – 05SEP26. Note bookings between 23MAY26 and 29MAY26 are not available)
Riyadh – Athens 05AUG26 – 26AUG26 SV intends to schedule 144-seater on 1 of 3 weekly flight, however actual booking continues to list A320
Riyadh – Geneva eff 02SEP26 3 weekly, replacing A330Regional (SV intends to increase from 3 to 4 weekly, additional flight not available for reservations)
Riyadh – Moscow Sheremetyevo eff 03JUL26 3 weekly, replacing A320 (SV intends to increase from 3 to 5 weekly from 02JUL26, 4 from 10SEP26. Additional flights are not available for reservations. A321XLR service would commence on 02JUL26 once additional flights open for booking)
The A321XLR aircraft, with configuration of J24Y120, is also scheduled to serve selected Riyadh – Jeddah service from 01JUL26.
