Solomon Airlines today (20JAN26) announced planned international service for Northern summer 2026 season, including the launch of new service to Christchurch from July 2026.

Honiara – Port Moresby eff 31MAR26 1 weekly A320 (This route was briefly served in July 2024)

Port Vila – Christchurch eff 01JUL26 2 weekly A320

IE728 CHC0925 – 1235VLI 320 47

The airline will also introduce 4th weekly Port Vila – Auckland from 01JUL26 and 2nd weekly Brisbane – Espiritu Santo from 02APR26. On Honiara – Port Vila route, service returns on 30MAR26 with 1 weekly A320.
