Etihad Adds A321LR / A380 Bangkok Flights in NW26

Etihad Airways today (25FEB26) announced the launch of Airbus A380 service to Thailand, operating Abu Dhabi – Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route from 25OCT26. The A380 will be operating as EY402/403, replacing the 777-300ER.

Not highlighted in the airline’s press release, EY400/401 will see Airbus A321LR operating, replacing the 787-9 from the same date.

The carrier operates this route up to 5 times a day during winter season, with EY408/409 operates from 23NOV26 initially with 5 weekly, increasing to 1 daily by 02DEC26.

Separately, the airline is increasing capacity on Abu Dhabi – Phuket route during Northern winter 2026/27 season. From 25OCT26, EY414/415 service will be operated by 787-9 instead of the A321LR. The airline overall operates 4 daily flights on this route.
