Ethiopian Airlines yesterday (17MAR26) announced planned service resumption for Addis Ababa – Atlanta route (Westbound via Rome Fiumicino), after 4-month hiatus. The Star Alliance member will operate 3 weekly flights from 21MAY26, increasing to 4 weekly from 20JUN26.

Note earlier this year, Ethiopian initially scheduled tentative service resumption from 02JUN26, but has opened bookings for the period of 21MAY26 – 31MAY26 by late-January. AeroRoutes’ update earlier this year in the title stated this route is being suspended but acknowledged service resumption may commence in the second quarter.
