United Updates NS26 737 MAX 8 Tokyo Narita Service

United during the weekend of 19MAR26’s schedule update has moved forward Boeing 737 MAX 8 schedule listing for Tokyo Narita route. The Star Alliance member now plans to switch all 737-800 service to MAX 8 (for Narita) by 19AUG26 at the latest, instead of early-December 2026.

United launched Boeing 737 MAX 8 operation at Guam and Micronesia region as part of its fleet renewal, with first Guam-based MAX flight debut on 06FEB26, Guam – Nagoya, based on Flightradar24 data. The 737 MAX 8 also made its debut on the Micronesia Island Hopper this past Monday 16MAR26 (registration N27304).

Between now and late-April 2026, United continues to list aircraft code 738 (737-800) instead of 7M8 for certain Guam-based aircraft operation. At Guam, all flights to show aircraft 7M8 by 01DEC26 at the latest, although this is likely to move forward.
