Japan Airlines and Qantas this month expands codeshare partnership, covering various domestic routes in Australia and Japan. Planned codeshare routes from early-April 2026 include the following.

Melbourne – Perth
Sydney – Adelaide

Qantas operated by JAL
Tokyo Haneda – Fukuoka
Tokyo Haneda – Hiroshima
Tokyo Haneda – Okinawa
Tokyo Haneda – Osaka Itami
Tokyo Haneda – Osaka Kansai
Tokyo Haneda – Sapporo New Chitose
