Turkish Airlines Gradually Suspends 18 International Destinations in 2Q26

Turkish Airlines during this week’s schedule update filed service changes for Northern summer 2026 season (including selected destinations for Northern winter 2026/27 season), as the airline gradually suspends 18 destinations from May and June 2026.
Suspended international destinations include Aqaba, Billund, Bissau, Ferghana, Freetown, Havana, Hurghada, Juba, Kinshasa, Kirkuk, Leipzig/Halle, Libreville, Luanda, Lusaka, Monrovia, Najaf, Pointe Noire and Turkistan.
Following removed routes in effect until 24OCT26:
Istanbul – Accra – Monrovia Planned 2 weekly Monrovia service from 11MAY26 cancelled (Accra unchanged)
Istanbul – Aqaba – Amman – Istanbul Planned service resumption for Aqaba from 01JUN26 cancelled for NS26 (Including in opposite directions; Amman nonstop service unchanged)
Istanbul – Asmara – Juba – Istanbul Planned service resumption for Juba from 02MAY26 removed (Asmara becomes nonstop terminator only)
Istanbul – Dakar – Bissau Planned 2 weekly Bissau service from 08JUN26 cancelled (Tentatively scheduled from 28MAR27; Dakar service unchanged)
Istanbul – Dar es Salaam – Lusaka Last flight for Lusaka on 10MAY26 (Dar es Salaam unchanged)
Istanbul – Havana Planned service resumption on 03JUN26 removed (Cancellation extended to 24OCT26)
Istanbul – Hurghada Last flight 02JUN26 (All dates including 2027 removed)
Istanbul – Kinshasa – Luanda – Istanbul Last flight 03MAY26
Istanbul – Libreville – Pointe Noire – Istanbul Last flight 06JUN26 (1 weekly in opposite direction previously scheduled from 18JUN26 also removed)

Following Iranian destinations remain cancelled at least until 24OCT26:
Esfahan, Mashhad, Shiraz, Tabriz
Turkish Airlines tentatively lists Tehran schedule from 01JUN26 however this is likely to change.
