Various Chinese carriers in the second quarter of 2026 filed service reductions to Hong Kong and Macau, including service suspensions. Suspended routes in May and June 2026 include the following.

Hainan Airlines (HU)
Haikou – Macau 09APR26 – 16JUN26 (except 19APR26 and 06MAY26)

Qingdao Airlines (QW)
Qingdao – Hong Kong 10MAY26 – 15JUN26 (The airline suspends overall Hong Kong service during this period)

Based on week of 17MAY26 – 23MAY26, Chinese carrier’s overall service from China to Hong Kong have been reduced from 347 weekly one-way flights as of 22MAR26 to 279 flights as of 17MAY26 (19.6% reductions). For Macau, overall one-way from China have been reduced from 117 weekly to 93 flights (20.5% reductions).
