China Southern Further Reduces Guangzhou – Australia Service in 3Q26

China Southern in recent schedule update extended service reductions to Australia into the end of Northern summer 2026 season (selected routes until late-September). Latest adjustment includes the following.

Guangzhou – Adelaide 16JUL26 – 12SEP26 Reduce from 3 to 2 weekly, 787-9
Guangzhou – Brisbane eff 21JUN26 Reduce from 9-12 to 7 weekly (Previous: 11 weekly from 16JUN26, 12 from 03JUL26, 9 from 14JUL26)
Guangzhou – Darwin 01JUL26 – 30SEP26 Reduction from 3 to 1 weekly until 30JUN26 is now extended to 30SEP26
Guangzhou – Melbourne eff 10JUN26 Reduce from initially scheduled 14 to 10 weekly, instead of 11-12 weekly (Previous: 12 weekly from 10JUN26, 11 weekly from 03JUL26)
Guangzhou – Sydney eff 01JUL26 Reduce from 21 to 14 weekly (Previous: 17 weekly)

With this recent update, the airline has erased planned increase for Northern summer 2026 season, especially in the third quarter of 2026, which Brisbane service back to 7 weekly, Melbourne 10, Sydney 14.
