Brasilian carrier GOL from December 2026 plans to launch new service to Argentina, which sees the inaugural of Rio de Janeiro Galeao – Salta scheduled on 17DEC26. Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to serve this route twice weekly.

For Northern summer 2027 season from 28MAR27, the airline serves this route once a week on Sundays-Mondays.
