United Adjusts Pohnpei / Chuuk Sunday Service in June 2026

United Airlines in the second half of June 2026 schedules service changes to Guam – Pohnpei – Chuuk – Guam triangle service, due to technical issues with the runway Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) and Runway End Identifier Lights (REIL) at Chuuk International Airport (source: The Village Travel Agency on Facebook).

From 14JUN26 to 28JUN26, the Sunday flight will operate during daytime hours, instead of overnight hours. The airline plans to resume overnight hours service once maintenance work at Chuuk is fully completed.
