TAP Air Portugal Adds Lisbon – Santa Maria in NS26

TAP Air Portugal since late-May 2026 launched new domestic service, with the addition of Lisbon – Santa Maria route. Inaugurated on 28MAY26, the Star Alliance member operates this route twice weekly with Airbus A320neo, replacing service previously operated by Azores Airlines.

Service to be operated by Embraer E190 aircraft from 17SEP26 to 13JUN27. TAP previously operated service to Santa Maria regularly until late-1980, with Boeing 707 operated Lisbon – Santa Maria – Boston, Lisbon – Santa Maria – Montreal and Lisbon – Santa Maria – New York JFK routing.
