United Airlines in recent weeks scheduled various service changes on domestic routes for Northern summer 2026 season. During the 74-day peak summer season, between 26JUN26 and 07SEP26, the airline in average reduces 6.9% flights for entire domestic service (data based on 22MAR26 vs 21JUN26 comparison, which includes charter flights).
As of 22MAR26: 343696 flights, 40685476 seats
As of 21JUN26: 320128 flights, 38730711 seats (6.9% flight, 4.8% capacity reductions)

From Chicago O'Hare:
The Star Alliance member since March 2026 gradually filed service reductions due to FAA implementing daily flight caps for the period of 02JUN26 – 24OCT26. During the period of 26JUN26 – 07SEP26, United in average reduced from planned 710-ish daily flights as of 22MAR26 to 590-ish daily flights as of 21JUN26.
