Air Canada this past week gradually filed Airbus A321XLR aircraft operations in North America during Northern winter 2026/27 season, as well as service to The Caribbean.

Other notable changes to planned A321XLR deployment on European routes for winter season include:
Halifax – London Heathrow eff 17DEC26 4 weekly A321XLR, replacing 1 daily 737 MAX 8 (Previous: eff 01DEC26; 1 daily once again scheduled from 28MAR27)
Montreal – Lisbon eff 24OCT26 Increase from 3 to 4 weekly, instead of 5. Service now scheduled with 3 weekly A321XLR and 1 weekly A330-300, instead of 5 weekly A321XLR
Ottawa – London Heathrow 16DEC26 – 26MAR27 3 weekly A321XLR, replacing 4 weekly A330-300 (schedule moves to morning hours from Ottawa; Previous: eff 02DEC26)
Toronto Pearson – Copenhagen eff 17NOV26 A321XLR replaces 787-8, 4 weekly (Service extends to year-round, with 787-8 scheduled during the period of 25OCT26 – 16NOV26, switching to A321XLR from 17NOV26, instead of 25OCT26)
Toronto Pearson – Manchester eff 15NOV26 A321XLR replaces 787-8, 4 weekly (Service extends to year-round, with 787-8 scheduled during the period of 25OCT26 – 14NOV26, switching to A321XLR from 15NOV26, instead of 25OCT26)
