Lufthansa at the launch of Northern winter 2026/27 season schedules short term aircraft changes on Frankfurt – Rio de Janeiro Galeao route. From 25OCT26 to 11NOV26 (Frankfurt departure), the 1 daily service will be operated by 747-8I, replacing 787-9.

Planned schedule as follows.

LH500 FRA2215 – 0610+1GIG 74H D
LH501 GIG1540 – 0655+1FRA 74H D
