AirAsia during the month of August 2026 plans to increase capacity on selected routes at Kota Kinabalu, as the airline schedules 236-seater A321neo aircraft, replacing A320.

Kota Kinabalu – Hangzhou 01AUG26 – 31AUG26 A321neo replaces A320, 1 daily
Kota Kinabalu – Taipei Taoyuan – Fukuoka 01AUG26 – 31AUG26 A321neo replaces A320/320neo, 1 daily
Kota Kinabalu – Tawau 01AUG26 – 31AUG26 A321neo replaces A320 on AK6264/6265

On Kota Kinabalu – Kuala Lumpur route, A321neo operation will increase from 1 to 3 daily roundtrips for the month of August 2026.
