WestJet Cancels 10 US Routes in NW26

WestJet in recent schedule update filed service changes to the US for Northern winter 2026/27 season, which sees the airline cancels 10 routes, based on schedule filing 14JUN26 vs 26JUL26. Among the 10 cancelled/removed routes to the US, Vancouver will lose 5 routes

Vancouver – Atlanta Cancelled 25OCT26 – 24APR27, 2 weekly
Vancouver – Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood
Seasonal service from 31OCT26 cancelled, 1 weekly
Vancouver – Los Angeles
Cancelled 25OCT26 – 24APR27, 10 weekly (Delta to assume this route from 21NOV26)
Vancouver – Lihue Seasonal service from 07DEC26 cancelled, 4 weekly
Vancouver – Orlando Extended cancellation since 27APR26, previously scheduled to resume 26OCT26 with 1 weekly flight

The carrier’s service from Vancouver to the US is being reduced from 11 routes to 6, while weekly departures being reduced from 66 weekly to 49.

Elsewhere in Canada, the airline will also cancel following US routes during winter season:
Calgary – Chicago O'Hare Cancelled 25OCT26 – 24APR27, 4 weekly
Edmonton – Atlanta Previously suspended until 24OCT26, future schedule removed on/after 25Oct26 (removed prior to mid-June 2026)
Regina – Las Vegas
Previously scheduled to resume on 29OCT26, 1 weekly
Saskatoon – Las Vegas
Previously scheduled to resume on 25OCT26,  1 weekly
Toronto Pearson – Las Vegas
Previously scheduled to resume on 25OCT26, 4 weekly
